DEFINITIONS

“App Annie Analytics”: the specific section of our Service where our users maintain their Source Account Information and access the Collected Data. We present your data visually in charts as part of the Service for App Annie Analytics, unless you request that we give you access to your Collected Data in raw data format.

“Collected Data”: data collected by us by either connecting to the Sources on behalf of our users or accessing direct uploads from our users to our Site. Collected Data does not include public data already directly available via the Sources.

“Source Account Information”: your user login and password information for access to your data from a specific Source.

“Sources”: online third-party data web sites. This includes without limitation Apple iTunes Connect, Google Android Market and other app Stores, digital distribution, analytics and advertising platforms.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages users access or visit, and information volunteered by the user (such as survey information and/or site registrations).

We use cookies to track your session information in order to improve your experience of the Site and the quality of our Service.

While using App Annie Analytics, we store our user’s Source Account Information and gather Collected Data.

INFORMATION SECURITY

Your Source Account Information and the Collected Data is used primarily for the purpose of running App Annie Analytics: obtaining your own downloads, sales, advertising, and analytics reports. To further protect your Source security, you can, where applicable and depending on the Sources, limit our access rights for App Annie Analytics by using a separated account with limited roles. While using App Annie Analytics, all data that is transferred between your computer and our Service is encrypted with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

You are only authorized to use App Annie Analytics to retrieve information to which you have lawful access rights.

While using the Service, sensitive information is never stored in cookies.

OWNERSHIP AND PRIVACY OF DATA

We understand that the use of App Annie Analytics requires sensitive statistical and financial data to be stored on our servers, and that steps must be taken to ensure this data stays private.

Your Collected Data will never be disclosed, sold or shared with a third party in an identifiable and non-anonymous form without your consent, unless we conclude that it is required by law, or such information is provided in certain limited circumstances to third parties to carry out tasks on our behalf for the purpose of maintaining, operating, providing and improving the Service (including without limitation, billing, emailing, CRM, support or data storage) with strict restrictions that prevent the data from being used or shared except as directed by us. Only you may access this Collected Data. Other users of our Service cannot view your data and reports. As long as you are registered on our Service, you can always request that we send you a copy of your Collected Data in the original format we collected. If you decide to cancel your use of our Service, your Collected Data will be deleted from App Annie Analytics.

From time to time, our sales, support and development staff (including those of third parties carrying out tasks on our behalf) may log in to the Service on your account in order to provide you assistance with sales, billing or technical issues upon your request. You hereby acknowledge and consent to such access when using the Service.

To market, operate and improve the existing Service, and build and operate new services and products, we reserve the right to keep indefinitely and use your Collected Data as long as it is rendered anonymous and non-identifiable in the final product. You hereby acknowledge and consent to such use by using our Service.

MODIFICATIONS

We may modify, in our sole discretion, this Policy at any time, and the new Policy shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. You agree to review periodically the Policy to be aware of such modifications, and your continuous use of the Service is an acceptance of any change to this Policy.

The date of the last update is included at the top of this Policy.

App Annie reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify this policy at any time, effective by posting new policy on the Site with the date of modification. You are responsible for reading and understanding the terms of this policy prior to using the Service.
