Use App Annie on your iPad, Plus Other Updates!
Starting today, App Annie is the first app tracking and analytics website to work fully on the iPad and iPhone.
Finally, you can hold your sales in your hands. And let us tell you, it feels phenomenal (really, it’s a dream).
We’ve revamped our entire graphing system to use a HTML5-powered solution, since the iPad doesn’t support Flash, and made many other iPad usability changes.
Our App Care users may have noticed a few other changes to App Annie as well. The update today also includes these updated reports:
- A redesigned dashboard focused on how your apps are doing “right now”
- Updated sales reports with more in-depth tabular data.
- An expanded “Countries” report, breaking down sales by countries over time.
Finally, we’ve introduced an important new feature to App Annie’s sales reporting: period comparisons. Figures shown on the dashboard and sales reports are now accompanied by percentages that show you exactly how much your sales have increased or decreased compared to the previous week, month, or selected period of time.
This is just another way to quickly and accurately pinpoint an important statistic, and period comparisons have been added in a way that makes the most sense for iPhone/iPad developers. For instance, the default dashboard comparison considers a period of 7 days, since app sales are known to fluctuate in a weekly pattern: peaking on the weekends and dipping lower over the week.
Thanks to everyone who has participated in the beta so far, and feel free to let us know what you think of this latest update!
Cheers,
The App Annie Team
